A Collection of Gestural Interfaces, Spring 2009 edition

In addition to Kicker’s own Gestural Entertainment Center for Canesta, there have been a lot of gestural interfaces that have launched recently. Here are a few that I found interesting.

The Sixth Sense (via TED)

This has gotten some scathing commentary from Andy Rutledge and Andy Polaine (“Only slightly lamer than VR”).

Boxee iPod Remote

iPoint 3D.

Lunar’s TV Remote.

Two-Handed Spatial Theramin.

GestureTek’s The Cube.

  1. Thanks for the mention. I’d be interesting in what your thoughts are about the Sixth Sense demo.
