Prototyping and Shoemaking at Maker Faire

plaster_prototype2Kicker’s going to be at Maker Faire tomorrow.

If you want to track down Jenn and Jody, you’ll probably find them wherever you find the coolest robotics. (If they haven’t actually built them, they’ll be geeking out over the tech.) I’ll be over in the Craft section. From 4:00 – 4:30pm, I will be giving a tutorial on last making. (The last is the buck used to create the shape of the shoe.) I’ll cover how to make traditional lasts as well as prototype methods which require far less time, money, and machinery.

If you are interested in shoemaking or prototyping, come by.

Saturday, May 3oth. 4 – 4:30pm. Craft Demo Booth.
